The Yukon Council of Archives applies for funding from the Canadian Council of Archives to provide financial assistance to Individual, General, and Institutional members interested in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the archival profession in the Yukon Territory through participation in professional development and training courses.

If you wish to apply for financial assistance, please consult the Professional Development and Training Guidelines. It provides information on how money is awarded, who is eligible, how to apply and the responsibilities of the applicant if the application is successful.

The Archives Association of British Columbia has some excellent archival resources in their "Archival Toolkit" that cover various aspects of archival practice, including establishing an archives, appraisal and accessioning, arrangement and description, reference and access, and links to other online resourses.
